Description: CIRCA 1820 The richly veneered arch-topped case surmounted by brass carrying handle. Brass fish scale frets to the brass lined front door. Conforming silk-backed brass fish scale sound frets to the sides. The convex painted Roman dial with blued steel moon hands and signed by the maker ‘Thos Strange/KINGSTON. The substantial twin fusee movement striking the hours on a bell. 15” (38 cm.) high, excluding handle; 11 ½” 29 cm.) wide; 7” (18 cm.) deep
