| Description: A George III "Library" clock of excellent colour and proportion. Convex painted dial signed by the maker. 8 day movement striking on a bell, with shaped plates, made for Dwerrihouse by Handley & Moore of London. Clock in well preserved condition with original double plinth, hood frets and pagoda top. Dwerrihouse, Carter and Son recorded working 1808 - 1815. Height 7' 2" (220cm) less finial. Fully overhauled and guaranteed. |
