A Mid Century Gilt Desk Clock and Weather Compendium by Imhof. A stunning vintage timepiece that captures the elegance and style of Mid Century design, this clock and weather instrument set was produced by the Swiss manufacturer Imhof during the 1960s. It is made of brass with a gilt finish, giving it a luxurious and elegant appearance.

The cube case rotates on a raised circular plinth, with sides inset with champagne coloured plates for Thermometer, Hygrometer, Barometer and a conforming champagne dial for the clock.  Rear wound and set jewelled eight day going barrel movement with Swiss lever escapement, this is an incredibly elegant clock and weather compendium that is far more stylish than any weather app can be.

This clock and weather instrument set makes a beautiful addition to any vintage or retro-inspired interior, adding a touch of classic sophistication and charm. It is a rare and unique timepiece that is sure to impress and delight collectors and enthusiasts alike.

CONDITON: 		Excellent condition, especially considering that it is six decades old. The original gilding is bright and clean and has a good rich colour. There are the usual minor marks, light surface scratches and light rubbing and tarnishing that one would expect. However, there are no major damages or blemishes. The dials are all clear and complete and there are no losses or damages to the glasses. The clock movement has been fully cleaned and serviced and is keeping good time. We guarantee all of our clocks and watches for one year.
