A stunning French miniature silver and lapis lazuli-mounted eight day timepiece carriage clock made by Gustave Keller, Paris. The white enamel dial is signed ‘G. Keller/Paris’ and has blued steel hands. The case boasts a richly coloured and beautifully figured natural lapis lazuli and applied with substantially cast silver moldings stamped with the makers mark ‘Keller’.
The winding and setting crown is set within the base and the single going barrel movement has an original lever escapement.

Condition: The clock is original and in excellent condition with only very minor marks and fine surface scratches consistent with its age and general use. There are no major defects. The silver mounts are well cast and in good condition with only very minor marks and light surface scratches. The dial is in perfect condition with no chips of damages.
The movement is original and has been fully serviced and overhauled and keeps good time over the week. We expect a clock of this design and period to keep within +/- 6 minutes a week.
