Miniature French timepiece carriage clock in English silver case, hallmarked London. The clock is delightful and would look wonderful adorning a desk. The movement was made in France and the case is from England. It was quite typical during this period for English silversmiths to use high quality French movements in their cases.
The images don’t really do the clock justice, the clock has a beautiful smooth finish and solid weight. Although it’s miniature, it’s no less noticeable and it has a good presence.
