A beautiful mid century nickel plated eight day timepiece mantel clock. Made by Jaeger LeCoultre, La Chaux-de-Fons Switzerland.
Mid Century era (circa 1950). Mid Century clocks make stunning statements in your home. They blend extremely well with any décor and are very in keeping with the linear Mid Century look. They are very versatile and can be placed on a mantelpiece, desk or table.
The finely engineered rectangular nickel case has a full rear opening door and is raised on flattened bun feet. The skeletonised Roman chapter ring over the lapis-effect background has polished nickel dauphine hands and the original plexiglass is signed ‘Jaeger LeCoultre’. The eight day rear wound movement with Swiss lever escapement is signed by the maker.

The clock is in excellent condition with only minor marks and fine surface scratches consistent with age and use. Please note that with this age and style of clock we expect it to keep within +/- 6 minutes per week.
